"Ar Alloys Trading" company was founded in 2014, it operates the factory located at 3/9 Shahumyan Street in Armavir city.
The factory deals with the processing of molybdenum concentrate (Teghut, Zangezur, Agarak) and the production of ferromolybdenum. The factory also includes a chemical laboratory equipped with the latest technologies, where laboratory sampling and analyzes are carried out in accordance with the GOST system. In order to ensure the high quality of the products, there is a separate technical control department (TCD) in the working structure of the company. The factory has a direct and indirect positive impact on small and medium-sized businesses in Armavir region, it has created a job for more than 100 people in the region.
Since 2022, "Ar Alloys Trading" company has been included in the list of major taxpayers of the Republic of Armenia.

Ferromolybdenum production cycle
Roasting - roasting workshop
We obtain molybdenum concentrate (sulfide) and roast it, as a result of which the concentrate loses the sulfur and other chemical elements contained in it and turns into molybdenum trioxide. On a monthly basis, the smelting workshop of the plant has the ability to smelt up to 300 tons of molybdenum concentrate, and if the entire production potential of the plant is used and re-equipped, this number can be tripled.
Hydrochemical treatment - hydrometallurgy workshop
Molybdenum trioxide is washed with nitric acid and other chemicals, which reduces the copper content of molybdenum trioxide and makes it suitable for smelting.
Melting - melting workshop
In the third stage, molybdenum trioxide is alloyed with various materials containing iron, as a result of which ferromolybdenum is produced, which is exported to the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus and European countries.

ferromolybdenum
Ferromolybdenum is an alloy formed by the combination of iron and molybdenum. It is mainly used in high strength low alloy alloys and stainless steel. It has many useful properties and can be used in cast iron, tool steel and other alloys. The addition of ferromolybdenum to the material helps improve welding, corrosion and wear resistance, as well as increase the strength of the ferrite.
Unfinished product - molybdenum trioxide
Molybdenum is a rare metal that, like lead, is used in various alloys, significantly increasing their quality. It occurs in the form of the mineral molybdenite. It increases the strength of metals, heat resistance, protects against corrosion, etc. Molybdenum-derived oxide and ferro-molybdenum are mainly used in steel casting as strengthening, heat-stabilizing and anti-corrosion components.
Environmental protection
The factory is equipped with a roasting workshop, in which 2 drum rotary kilns, re-equipped in line with the latest technologies, are used, which in turn are equipped with cyclone settling ventilation and other systems that filter the gases generated during production in accordance with all environmental norms, which reduces the negative effects of the emissions of the roasting process carried out by us.
It is equipped with two smoke towers 61 meters high, which reduce harmful emissions to the environment. Since 2004, the factory has been carrying out its activities within the framework of the positive conclusion of the environmental impact assessment and the marginal permissible emission norms given on its basis.
Since then, technical upgrades have been constantly carried out to reduce harmful emissions into the environment.Security
The factory undergoes an annual mandatory technical safety examination, during which all the machine tools and equipment used in the factory are tested, as well as the responsible people, who operate the above-mentioned equipment, undergo training. In addition, the factory constantly monitors the safety of work by keeping appropriate registers.
The entire area of the factory is equipped with fire safety tools and equipment, including an alarm system.
All employees of the factory are constantly trained and wear safety uniforms.
